The United States Cartoon Football League
is made up of twenty unique teams. Each team has not only their own
history but a history in this league. On this page, you will
get to know each team on a more intimate level.
The Simpsons
Since
1989, The Simpsons have been the quintessential animation series. Only
Scooby-Doo has enjoyed more longevity. The Simpsons is now the longest
running prime-time show in the history of television. And since 1991,
The Simpsons have well represented the Boston and New England areas in
the USCFL. In spite of being a playoff team the last few seasons, The
Simpsons have not been in or represented the Atlantic Conference in the
Go For The Gold Game. Now The Simpsons have the longest dry spell in
the league standing at eighteen years. 2010 will be the year they hope
that they will Go For The Gold once and for all.

of Warner Bros and has been since 2001. The characters on this team
come from a wide variety of shows including some shows now seen on the
network's sister Boomerang. For the first time in league history shows
from Canada including 6teen and Total Drama Island. And for the first
time, a team in the league will represent New Jersey. No information or
history in this league has been established however, in two tune-up
games they've lost to Hanna-Barbera and Disney.

Modern Cartoon All-Stars
After replacing The Walter Lantz All-Stars in the Big
Apple in 2008, The Modern Cartoon All-Stars have had a couple of losing
seasons. The Modern Team as it's called sometimes was created by league
itself to answer to the success The Classic Cartoon All-Stars have had.
The Modern Team consists of characters that have been created since
1990 like Sonic The Hedgehog, Shrek, Pokemon, Sailor Moon and many
others. The Modern Cartoon All-Stars are looking for the success they
once had in Rhode Island after coming to New York.

Warner Bros All-Stars
Once they played in New
Orleans, then spent more than twenty years in Honolulu and one
championship season in Pittsburgh before moving to their permanent home
in Philadelphia in 2009. Warner Bros have moved around over the years
but they also have had playoff success and two titles. The Looney Tunes
are well represented on this team as well as other WB shows like
Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid!, Teen Titans, and Tiny
Toon Adventures. They took over ownership of Hanna-Barbera but they
have their own team so they have their own profile. Warner Bros barely
made the playoffs last season but this year their goal is to make it
all the way.

Hanna-Barbera All-Stars
Hanna-Barbera has had a rich and
storied history both on television and the USCFL. Hanna-Barbera was to
television what Disney is to the Silver Screen. Legendary characters
like Yogi Bear, Fred Flintstone, Scooby-Doo and Huckleberry Hound are
all in the USCFL Hall of Fame. At first, Hanna-Barbera scraped the
bottom of the proverbial barrel for years until Scooby-Doo and The
Flintstones joined the team in 1994 and have become a powerhouse ever
since. They made the playoffs for four straight years and plan to make
it five with the Disney trophy in hand.

Fox won the Atlantic Conference Championship their first year in the
league. They made the playoffs again in 2008 and 2009 and hope to make

80's All-Stars
All the great characters from the
1980's are showcased on this team. The team replaced the team that
started the USCFL in 1981 but haven't yet to fill the giant shoes left
behind. With the exception of The Transformers or Masters of the
Universe, the 80's All-Stars consists of characters from The Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Thundercats, The Silverhawks, Jem and the
Holograms, GI Joe and many others. So far in their first two seasons,
they didn't make the playoffs. For 2010, the team added new characters,
a new color scheme and are going back to representing Miami as well as
the state of Florida. The team's new look and players should help to
make them playoff contenders.

Disney East All-Stars
For the first time in USCFL history
there are two Disney teams that will play at the same time. Disney East
was among twelve teams that joined the league all at once in 1983 and
along with Warner Bros are the only teams left from the expansion that
ended all expansions. The expansion that made the USCFL what it is
today. Disney East has boasted for nearly twenty years the best defense
in the league. It was their defense that helped to make Disney East the
current Atlantic Conference champions.

Masters of Power
The Masters of Power is a very
unique team. It's comprised of the entire Masters of the Universe and
Princess of Power line of action figures and TV shows. The merger
happened in 1995 and in the last few years have become a very unusual
playoff contender. In 2009, The Masters of Power had the number one
quarterback, the number one running back, the number two wide receiver,
the number one tight end, the number two linebacker and the number four
place kicker. It was in 2009 that personal, team and league records
were established or broken. For four straight years The Masters of
Power were 9-9 during the regular season and made the playoffs with the
even record but in a shortened 2010 season, they hope to have an above
average season and hoist the Disney trophy once again.

The Smurfs
The Smurfs were the USCFL's first
expansion team in 1982. Since then The Smurfs have become the pride of
the USCFL. They have played a laundry list of teams in the Go For The
Gold Game winning it all four times in 1982, 1999, 2006 and 2007. The
Smurfs are the only USCFL team to hail from Belgium. Hanna-Barbera
Americanized The Smurfs in 1981 but it was Pierre Culliford who brought
the Smurfs to life in 1958. In 2010, the Smurfs are looking to be back
on top of the USCFL heap by winning one for the thumb.

The Transformers
Along with He-Man in 1985, The
Transformers helped to establish the now standard "good guys" on
offense and "bad guys" on defense ploy. The Transformers are unique in
many ways, the action figures were the first to be two figures in one
and in the USCFL they played using two different uniforms. Beginning in
1997, that had changed. A major playoff contender for years they hope
to make 2010 the season where there is more than meets the eye.

Comics. In the USCFL, like Fox, The Justice League made the playoffs in
their first season and scored 85 points in their USCFL debut in 2006.
They didn't make the playoffs in 2007, 2008 and 2009 but hope to change
that in 2010.

Star Trek
Football not space is Star Trek's
final frontier. For fifteen years, Star Trek has been a top playoff
contender and features characters from the original series, the
animated series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. In
2008, Star Trek finally got its chance as they became Pacific
Conference champions and almost became USCFL champions as they were one
point short against Warner Bros. In 2010, Star Trek wants to boldly go
where other USCFL teams have gone before; Go For The Gold champions.

All-Stars
The last of the original seven teams
that started the league in 1981 is still going strong and in 2010 will
be the reigning champions. The team consists of Muppets from Sesame
Street, The Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock. Jim Henson had the longest
dry spells in league history. They played their first Go For The Gold
Game since 1988 and won their first title since 1983. The dry spell
ended and Jim Henson will try to become only the fourth team to win
back to back titles.

to talk about, like their east coast cousins, Disney West will play on
or near the grounds of Disneyland in Anaheim, California as they played
inside Walt Disney World in Florida. The team consists of characters
that the East team never had or traded to past and present. Unlike the
East team, no one yet will know for sure if this team will be a
defensive or offensive powerhouse. Time will tell in 2010.

Like the Modern Cartoon All-Stars,
The Classic Cartoon All-Stars consist of characters made before 1980.

years. For the third time in four years, The Classics will
be playing in their new and permanent stadium in San Francisco and hope
to bring the City By The Bay a Disney Trophy to them.

2009 won their first playoff game but this year their goal is like the

TV Ad All-Stars
And now a word from our sponsor, The
TV Ad All-Stars consists of characters made popular in American
advertising past and present. In 2009, the TV Ad All-Stars had the one
of the most improbable seasons in league history by going 17-1 during
the regular season coming up just short in the Pacific Conference
Championship Game. But this year perfection is their goal and the USCFL
championship. Now back to our show.
